Wrangler

• Must have extensive horse and trail riding experience, including working with and training young horses.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills and love for animals
• Must have/bring their own Western saddle, head stalls/bits, pad and general ‘cowboy attire’
• Some tractor and packing experience preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to safely drive a truck and trailer.
• Must be good with children and adults and willing and able to teach general horsemanship
• Must be 18 years and older
• Riding video required (maximum 3 minutes) showing catching, saddling, bridling, walking, trotting, and loping.

Kid’s Wrangler

Must meet all Wrangler qualifications listed above. In addition:

• Must have extensive experience working with children.
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ideal candidate is comfortable giving lessons, leading junior rodeo activities (poles, roping dummy, etc.),
• Must be comfortable supervising activities off ranch such as museums, zip lining, hiking, and fishing with the owners’ two boys (ages 8 and 11) or guests.

Maintenance

• Horse and packing experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate and sharpen a chainsaw, drive a tractor, and tow a trailer.
• Comfortable working independently and handling general ranch repairs.
• Must know basic mechanical maintenance, including changing tires and oil, and performing general household repairs.

Alternate (Relief Position)

• Covers shifts across multiple departments as needed. (Housekeeping, Serving, Dishwashing, Office and barn chores)
• Must have excellent customer service skills, enjoy interacting with guests, and love animals.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, reliable, and a quick learner.

Breakfast/Lunch Chef (Covers two dinners)

• Prepares breakfast and lunch five days a week, and dinner two days a week when the Dinner Chef is off.
• Some cooking experience required.
• Must be a team player, able to work long hours, and maintain a positive attitude.
• ServeSafe Certification required upon hire.

Dinner Chef (Covers two breakfasts)

• Prepares dinner five days a week, and breakfast two days a week when the Breakfast/Lunch Chef is off.
• Must have cooking and budget management experience.
• Must be team-oriented, efficient under pressure, and comfortable with long workdays.
• ServeSafe Certification required upon hire.

Pastry/Prep Chef

• Some kitchen experience required.
• Prepares food for chefs, makes sandwiches for guests and crew, and cooks breakfast one day per week.
• ServeSafe Certification required upon hire.

Server

• Some kitchen or serving experience required.
• Must have strong people skills, be organized, and able to multi-task.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Food Handlers Card required upon hire.

• No experience required.
• Food Handlers Card required upon hire.

Housekeeper

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and hardworking.
• Responsible for cleaning guest cabins and maintaining general cleanliness throughout the ranch.
• Must be comfortable working alone.

Office Assistant

• Some office experience required.
• Must be comfortable with computers, phones, and customer interaction.
• Handles tours, check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and general office duties.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable around animals.

Nanny

• Must have experience working with children and a clean driving record.
• Outgoing, personable, and reliable.
• Some horse experience preferred.
• Responsible for caring for the owners’ children (ages 9 and 12) and providing babysitting services for guest children as needed.

Intern Wrangler (Wrangler in Training)

The Intern Wrangler program is a six-week, non-paid opportunity that includes room and board. It is designed for individuals who are not yet qualified for a full Wrangler position but want to gain experience, try out ranch life, and see if wrangling is the right fit. We are offering two intern spots each summer: one from July to mid-August, and another from mid-August to the end of September.

Intern Wrangler requirements:

• At least 3 years of riding experience and comfortable around horses.
• Clean driving record.
• Truck and trailer experience preferred but not required.
• Outgoing, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Eager to learn and grow in horsemanship and ranch operations.
