Rider Rates
Rider rates include accommodations, meals, maid service, use of our Montana dude ranch facilities (including hot tub and rec room), horse and wrangler services daily, riding lessons, and participation in ranch activities.
Non-Rider Rates
Non-rider rates include lodging, meals, maid service, use of our Montana dude ranch facilities (including hot tub and rec room), but does not include horse and wrangler services. One full or half day horse ride may be added to any Non-rider stay. Full day horse ride rate is $150; half day horse ride rate is $85. If you choose the non-rider rate, we cannot guarantee availability to add a ride during your stay.
Child Rates at the Ranch
Child rates apply to children 6 to 14 years of age coming to our Montana dude ranch. Children under 6 years are free of charge.
Reservations and Refunds
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your lodging reservation and to hold your cabin at our Montana dude ranch.
If a reservation is canceled at least sixty days prior to the arrival date, your deposit will be refunded less a $200.00 cancellation fee. If a reservation is canceled within the sixty day period, the Covered Wagon Ranch will retain the deposit in its entirety with the option to credit it towards a stay at the ranch within the next year, otherwise the deposit is forfeited.
Pack Trips July to September
Experience rugged America in the heart of the wilderness. Enjoy a 2/night overnight horseback pack trip, riding into a remote corner of the most visited destination in the country — Yellowstone Park as well as adjacent Gallatin National Forest. Taking only small groups, our campsites are exceptionally comfortable and marvelously picturesque. Sleep warm and soundly inside your tent or beneath a blanket of stars. You must book as a rider with a minimum 5 night stay. We limit our trips to one per week, departing on Tuesday and returning on Thursday. Minimum age for children is 10 years old, and you must not have a fear of heights!
Pack Trip Rates
For each night that a guest sleeps out on a pack trip, $40 per person per night will be added to the regular cost of their stay at the ranch. It is required that guests embarking on a pack trip stay at the ranch the night before and after their scheduled trip.

Laundry Facilities and Pay Phone Available. There is no cell coverage at the ranch.
WIFI is available in the lodge for the guests.
All Rates are Subject to Change
Whitewater Rafting, Guided Tours of Yellowstone National Park, and Guided Fishing Trips are all conducted by Non-Ranch Licensed Outfitters and require an additional fee. We are happy to recommend guides in the area to provide these services for you while you stay at our Montana dude ranch.
