Covered Wagon Ranch lunches are laid back. Actually, I think that makes it sound like more work than it is.
We all get off our horses, and let them go graze.
Some of us eat our lunch, some of us take pictures. But most of us take a nap.
Or we sleep.
And while we are sleeping, the horses are grazing.
Now, I know that I haven’t put a video up here before, but all you should need to do is press play. Let me know if it doesn’t work. I might try and do something about it.
Lunch on the trail is an awesome experience – people are munching, horses are munching, a very relaxing break. Unless you were on our ride on Sept. 6th when Oliver and Megan decided to pile horse manure around Jess’s head while he was napping!! Oliver made the mistake of piling one too many and that got Jess’s attention – RUN OLIVER RUN!! Jess was super fast after he dropped his spurs, chaps and vest – Oliver didn’t stand a chance. It was very entertaining to watch and the horses ignored the silly people and kept munching!
BTW – love the video, especially because Granite is featured – I really would take him home Sarah – if I could. Really I would.
